Convention of vanilla growers on Sunday

   The Vanilla Growers’ convention and Technical Training camp will commence from June 10 in the City.
   The convention will be held at the Rotary Bal Bhavan at 9.30 am. Indian Vanilla Growers’ Association President P M Ramu will inaugurate the convention. Mothi Ramarao, Anaberu Rajanna, Dr D C Chouta, K M Kotreshappa and others will be the guests.
   District Vanilla Growers’ Association President G Murigendrappa, in a press conference on Thursday, pointed out that the convention was organised for promoting vanilla growing and to bring about awareness.
   Experts will inform about the agriculture tie-ups, vanilla culture and marketing.
   Vanilla is being grown in 300 acres in the district. He noted that the convention was being organised by rejuvenate the minds of the vanilla growers who have experienced loss.
   Chennarayapattana Vanilla Processing Unit member Sachidananda Naik, H B Murugeshappa, H Jayappa, G M Basavanagowda, A B Parameshwarappa, Dr Praven Hegde and others were present.
