Seiko Watch India, a subsidiary of Seiko Watch Corporation, which launched its operations on Thursday, plans to market its premium watches through several multibrand outlets and flagship stores across 10-12 cities in India.
The company, which plans to enter 6-7 cities within next 45 days, is in talks with 50-60 multibrand outlets.
“We hope to achieve a relationship with the Indian consumer through our wide range of watches,” said Seiko Watch Corporation President & CEO Shinji Hattori.
“We will be opening one flagship store in each city we are present in,” said Seiko Watch India Managing Director Atsushi Kaneko.
Further, Mr Kaneko added that the stores would be 1100 sq ft to 2200 sq ft, on par with their international outlets.
