Harvard dropout Gates gets degree
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates finally got his Harvard degree, more than 30 years after dropping out of the university to enter the software business and become the richest man in the world, reports DPA. “We recognise the most illustrious member of the Harvard class of 1977 never to have graduated from Harvard,” said Harvard University Provost Steven Hyman. Replying in the official graduation address, Gates said, “I did the best of everyone who failed.”

Bronze goddess sets auction record

A bronze sculpture of the Roman goddess Artemis fetched USD 28.6 million at auction, a world- record auction price for a sculpture of any period, Sotheby’s said, reports AP from New York.“Artemis and the Stag,” dating from the first century BC to first century AD, was purchased by London art dealer Giuseppe Eskenazi on behalf of “a European private collector,” according to Sotheby’s .

Stars flayed for shunning lingerie

Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan has slammed Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan for the habit of not wearing underwear.  Sherdian says there is no excuse for the stars  being photographed without pants since lingerie has been made to cope with visible panty lines.
