Jaipur's Amanjyot Singh cruised to a comfortable seven-stroke win in Category 'A' of the Sunfeast Southern India Junior and Sub-junior golf championship at the Coimbatore Golf Club on Friday. Amanjyot, who shot a 74 in the final round, finished the tournament at 294, six-over-par.
Chandigarh 's Rahul Bakshi finished second at 301 after shooting a final-round 81.Delhi's Rashid Khan had to be content with the third place at 304 after shooting a 75.
Category 'B' saw Chikkarangappa clinch the title after shooting an 84. His four-day tally stood at 310, two strokes ahead of Ashbeer Saini, who had a final-round 81. Khalin Joshi carded 77 to finish third at 317 with Raghav Bhandari (77) a further three strokes behind in fourth place at 320.
In Category 'C', Rahul Ravi carded an impressive six-over 78 to post a two-stroke win over overnight leader Tarundeep Singh Chadha, who shot an 86. Ravi finished with an aggregate of 333 while Chadha ended up with a four-day total of 335. Abhishek Kuhar grabbed the third place with a tally of 346.
In Category 'D', Delhi's Vidit Singh clinched the title with a round of 87 for a combined tally of 250. Piyush Sangwan, who shot an 83, finished second at 258, while Prakhar Asawa (90) finished third at 268.
