Guru for Nidumamidi mutt
DH News Service,Chikkaballapur:
Prof B M Renukumar has been appointed as the peethadyakhsha of Nidumamidi Chikkaballapur Shaka mutt at a religious function held recently.

For the first time in the history of  more than thousand year old Nidumamidi mutt, the whole programme was conducted in Kannada by seer Veerabhadrachannamalla swami which is a record of sorts he has created.
Bangalore Rajarajeshwarinagar agmika D V Sadanandamurthy Shastry and his disciples who conducted the programme in Kannada was what was unique about this function. As a result the people who attended the programme were able to understand the nuances of the religious programme and also understand its importance.
Prof Renukumar who has served for 35 years as a teacher was given the title, ‘Shivayutha Sri Ganeshwara Deshikotamma.’
Just as the programme conducted in Kannada was a sort of history, it is also history that for the first time a family man has entered sanyas by giving up everything and will be involved in social service.
His simple personality, patience personified, full of love and never knowing anger all are tailor-made for him to enter sanyas which suits the ideals Nidumamidi mutt. His main aim is to serve the society.
In the religious programme peeta president Veerabhadrachannamalla swami, Suvarnayuga party State unite president Mahima Patel, secretary Ganesh, leaders G H Nagaraj, V Venkatesh, education expert Prof Kodirangappa and others participated in the programme.
