On Monday, the college students went on the rampage breaking window panes in the college after they were denied examination hall tickets.
Sources said Shah Nawaz, president of the study circle, was entirely dependent on the principal, Puttaswamy. Few months ago, due to reasons not known, the two were at loggerheads and in the process, Puttaswamy was reportedly sacked.
Later, Nawaz learnt Puttaswamy, in an attempt to take revenge, kept the relevant papers in his cupboard before ‘disappearing’. The study circle was offering coaching to PU students. Police said Nawaz promised hall tickets would be arranged for students by Friday.
