A handful of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) students beaming after their successful placements spoke to Deccan Herald. Here is what they have to say:
Shruti Rangarajan, placed as analyst at Accenture Business Consulting (Mumbai branch): “I wanted to do consulting and be in India. I belong to Mumbai and am happy to be going back there. I turned down two offers to accept this.”
Aman Sethi, Mckinsey Consultants (Delhi office): “I am ecstatic. I opted to work in India as there are good opportunities here. Anyone who enters IIM-B has a dream job in mind and I have got my dream job!”
Gautam Gurnani, placed at Goldman Sachs (London branch): “I am feeling good. I was offered this job after the completion of my internship there, so I did not go in for the placement process. I believe it is very good for one’s career to start it at an international location like London.”
