Woman kills kids, tries to end life
DH News Service,Bangalore:
A woman strangled her two children, threw them into Varthur lake and jumped into the lake in an attempt to end her life, on Tuesday night.

However, she was rescued by passersby and she is said to be out of danger. While one-and-a-half-year-old Kavana's body was fished out, Trisha (3) was yet to be traced.
Police said Vinutha and Umakanth, an advocate, were married for ten years. They used to have frequent fights. On the ill-fated day, after Umakanth left home, Vinutha boarded a bus and headed towards Varthur lake. On learning about it, Umakanth rushed to spot in his car but it was too late.
Babu, one of the rescuers, told Deccan Herald: “We are feeling bad that we could not save the children. We managed to pull her (Vinutha) out of the lake.” The locals said: “If the fire force department officials had turned up in time, the children could have been saved.”
A double-murder case was filed against Vinutha.

Dear sir,
From this news it appears that it is a case of infidelity from the women who committed suicide. She might have had relationship with another men who satisfied her during the husband's absence. Fearing this she has committed suicide. Being an educated she does not even know the concept of marriage and family. It is a shame on such people who set such immoral examples to other family members. The children are at the receiving end from the parents of no fault of theirs.
