The exercise has almost reached completion stage and is likely to be completed by this week-end.

The OCEO will take up preparation of new voters’ list based on delimited constituencies.
The plan is to complete the delimited rolls by March 25 so that fresh electoral photo identity cards (EPIC) can be issued to voters based on new constituency boundaries. The EC, it is learnt, has issued directions to the OCEO to hold EPIC campaign till May 10.

A meeting of all special observers and officials of the Office of Chief Electoral Officer has been convened on Wednesday to discuss the preparedness for holding elections in the State. Deputy Election Commissioner Jai P Prakash, who arrived here on Tuesday, will chair the meeting which will review the ongoing delimitation exercise.
