Balance sports and studies
DH News Service,Tumkur:

Earlier there was dearth of opportunities, however now there are a lot of opportunities in the field of Sports and in several other fields as well, said athlete of international fame Arjun Devaiah.
He was speaking at a programme organised as part of the  inter college leather ball 20:20 cricket tournament of the Chennabasaveshwara Engineering College in Gubbi.
Utilise chances
Now even Sports is being given acceptance like studies.
Thus, the students instead of wasting their time should make the best use of the time available and head towards their goal. Every oppurtunity must me utilised to ensure that they have a good chance to make in a mark in the competitive world and have an edge over all others
They should excel in the field of their choice and they should also be able to balance studies and sports, he added.
Also, going to America immediately after higher studies should not be the sole motive of students, he observed.
College secretary G B Jyothi Ganesh, Technical Director  Dr  D S Suresh Kumar and others were present.
