SEATO To Forge Ties With NATO
Manila, Mar 11.
The council of Ministers of the South-East Asia Treaty Organisation at its first secret session today discussed the strengthening of ties between SEATO and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
The eight Foreign Ministers gave general approval to a letter from NATO Secretary General Paul Henri Speak, suggesting the NATO should exchange all non-military information with SEATO.

The Speaker reserved ruling on the point whether discussion on the adjournment motions in the Assembly on the death of Muniamma would be sub judice. The House heard the Advocate-General Mr O R Ethirajulu Naidu to whom the issue was referred yesterday say that Magisterial enquiry under Section 170 Cr PC was judicial proceedings.

NAM Political Draft For Anti-N thrust
New Delhi, March. 11.
The finalised declaration by the Political Committee, submitted today to the Heads of State and Government for adoption, retains not only the powerful non-partisan thrust imparted to the concept of non-alignment in the draft prepared by India but also reinforces it sharply in places. This represents a significant achievement for India which guided the deliberations of the committees and lobbies with the aim of preventing any dilution of the basic principles of the movement.
