Dry weather prevailed over the State. Maximum temperatures fell at many places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and remained normal over Interior Karnataka. Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37.0 Celsius over the State. Minimum temperatures rose appreciably, at many places over the State. They were appreciably below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Chamarajanagar recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14.0 Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Thursday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Kolar, Chamarajnagara, Mysore, Mandya, and Madikeri districts and mainly dry weather will prevail over remaining districts of the State.
