IBM on Wednesday, announced the launch of IBM India Institute for Business Value (IBV) to address the growing demand for high value services by clients in India, and for those seeking to break into the market.
The IBV, which is IBM’s “business think tank”, will create fact-based, industry and service area-specific thought leadership materials that will enable clients to realize business value, said IBM in a statement.
The institute comprises of 60 consultants spread across the world, who conduct research and analysis in 17 industries and across 5 functional disciplines. Working in collaboration with industry experts, leading-edge clients, academia and IBM’s own strategy consultants, it will help clients visualise and capitalise on new opportunities. IBM said IBV’s research is used by industry players to understand and anticipate changes, prioritise alternatives for value creation.
