Balmatta road closed
Vehicular movement on Balmatta-Mangalore Nursing Home road has been closed from March 12, in the backdrop of concretisation process of the same. An order by Deputy Commissioner M Maheshwar Rao, who is also the district magistrate, stated that the order will be in force till the completion of the project.
Fr Mullers Day today
Ambassador of Czech Republic to India Hynek Kmonicek and Registrar of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Dr Vasanth Kumar will be the chief guests in the Institutions Day and Graduation ceremony of Father Muller Charitable Institutions in Mangalore on March 13. According to a press release, the day also marks the 167th birth day of its founder Fr Augustus Muller. Bishop of Mangalore Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza will preside over the function.
As many as 78 students from Fr Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, 53 from Fr Muller School of Nursing, 112 from Fr Muller College of Nursing and 232 from Fr Muller Medical College will receive their graduation certificates on the occasion, the release added.
Deafness clinic  in KMC
KMC Hospital has launched a Deafness Clinic, which will be functional on every Tuesday and Friday from 9 am to 1 pm. Services offered during the clinic are Cochlear implantation for profound deafness, Middle ear implants for less severe deafness, Bone anchored hearing aid for children.
