It was a mixed crowd as youngsters, children with parents in tow, trickled in, eager to give vent to their views, to answer questions put up by the MC at the Deccan Herald stall. As part of its ongoing event, Metrolife, the city supplement of Deccan Herald had organised an event at Forum Mall in Koramangala on March 8 which gave the participants a chance to pen their thoughts in on-the-spot writing competition, answer the quiz questions and take part in other fun-filled programmes.
While the kids fervently put colour to their imagination in their beautiful drawings, the youth enthusiastically answered questions.
However, quite a number of people preferred to participate in the writing competition and wrote on a topic of their choice ranging from woman’s day, poverty in India, to Bangalore being a garbage city rather than garden city.
We are publishing the best three write-ups.
