Guruskool will be conducting music, dance and other creative activity classes at Malleswaram. On the offering are Carnatic music classes in veena, vocal and percussion, Hindustani music classes in violin, vocal and tabla, Light music and ‘sugama sangeeta’, guitar and keyboard under Western music.The dance forms include Kathak and Bharatanatyam. All the classical music classes are held according to a set syllabus and the students can later take up the examination if they wish to.

While the classes are open to all age groups, special plans for children include story-telling sessions at the Malleswaram campus in association with Kathalaya in the 4-6 age group and 6-10 years. These classes are activity-based where children are encouraged to open up their mind, to let their imagination run freely, and express their creativity both in words and through action and craft. They also learn to make puppets, origami techniques, masks etc. The whole experience is intended to let them explore their inherent creativity for which there is not much scope during their normal school time. Additionally they are exposed  to a whole range of stories from mythology, folklore, adventure and fantasy. There will be music for children by Alan Rego who has specialised in this field.
