Goa police have landed in trouble with a senior doctor accusing the police of ignoring his observations that death of Scarlett, , a British teenager girl here, could be a case of homicide. The doctor, who accused the Goa police, had conducted the first autopsy on Scarlett. Earlier, the Goa police was accused of covering up her death.
The doctor was caught on a hidden camera by a news channel. On camera, the doctor had said that Lakshya Amonkar (a subordinate to controversial police sub inspector Nerlon Albuquerque) was informed about the doctor’s suspicion that Scarlett’s death could be a homicide.
