The First Additional District and Sessions Judge of Jamtara district, Mr Arun Kumar, on Wednesday awarded life imprisonment to seven persons in the Chirudih massacre case, in which 10 persons were killed in 1975, reports DHNS from Ranchi.
On March 6, the court had found seven persons guilty, but acquitted 14 including JMM chief and former Union minister Shibu Soren for lack of evidence in this connection. Altogether 69 people were booked.
