A petitioner allegedly tried to abuse and assault Taluk special Tahsildar during the proceedings in Robertson Pet Civil Court on Thursday.
The trouble started when the Magistrate called a complainant but somebody else appeared. The Magistrate enquired whether that person had authorisation to appear on behalf of the complainant and adjourned the case. This enraged the person who was to appear in that case. He rushed inside the Court hall and demanded that the case be taken up immediately. When he was asked to leave, he abused the Magistrate and tore the papers and ran away.
The Magistrate has lodged a complaint  at the Robertson Pet Police station. DySP Vijaya Sheshan arrived and Circle Inspector Krishnappa has registered the case.
District Employees Association President L A Manjunath, KGF Employees’ Association President Pallavimani, State Parishat member Ramachandrappa, Secretary B J Naidu have condemned the attack and have demanded for rapid action.
