On board Golden Chariot train, badminton legend Prakash Padukone, who was the celebrity guest, candidly spoke about his daughter — actress and model Deepika Padukone.

Regarding his daughter’s rise to stardom and the rumours that keep surrounding her, Prakash said: “I am just getting used to it now. We do not attach much significance to all the rumours. She has a professional manager now, who takes care of everything for her.”

Prakash said that Deepika had already warned him about what to expect once she entered the modelling world and the film industry. “The youth nowadays are very independent. It will not be good for her growth if we follow her everywhere,” he said.

When public relation officer requested Prakash to see that Deepika travels in the Golden Chariot at least for a day as a celebrity guest, Prakash said, “She is right now shooting in Thailand. In fact she hardly comes home as she is very busy. However, I will definitely talk to her and see that she travels in this train.”
