The new Pooja Gandhi starrer film Yaare Nee Yamini has been dropped. The film which was launched a few days ago, was supposed to be directed by action director Jolly Bastin for producer Santhosh Kaveri. Newcomer Gurunandan was the male lead.

The film has been dropped owing to difference of opinions between the producer and the director. Both the producer and director have decided to part ways with their own reasons for parting.

According to the producer, the director had earlier promised that the film would be of low budget, but to his shock, the director had been demanding Rs 25,000 to handle the camera for one day itself! This cost much, says the producer.

But the director had a different version to say. He says that both of them had a difference of opinion and this is just a ‘precautionary measure’ to keep himself out of the impending danger! And what’s the danger? Santhosh, the producer had dumped the director of Autograph please mid-way. So shall we guess that Bastin’s decision came after giving a second thought to work with Santhosh? 

On the other hand, heroine Pooja Gandhi has already returned the money to the producer. However, the director has plans to make a new film by retaining the same cast. Meanwhile, the producer is searching for a director who can match his budget!
