Political leaders, when they enter the cabinet to govern, invariably take an oath of office in which they swear that they will perform in a nonpartisan manner. But they forget this solemn oath very soon.

This is what happened in Kannur. Just analyse how many CPM ,RSS BJP workers have been murdered. Where is the police? Why do they remain mere onlookers? The remark of the Kerala High Court is apt and vindicates the trust people repose in judiciary. The reaction of Pinarayi Vijayan, CPM state secretary, reveals his innate feeling of hatred towards the judiciary and must be taken up by the court. We do not need such irresponsible political leaders because they will be a danger to democracy.
