As many as 8.44 lakh students will appear for the SSLC examination set to begin on March 31 in 2,645 centres across the State. Of these, 7.38 lakh are freshers, 83,600 repeaters and 22,061 private candidates.
Of the 2,645 centres, 1,506 have been identified as cluster centers, 1,065 independent centres and remaining for private candidates. About 391 centres have been identified as sensitive and hyper-sensitive centres.
After completion of the exam, key answers for all papers will be posted on the website. The evaluation will commence from April 10. The supplementary exam is expected to be held in June.
