No Victimisation: Jagjivan Ram
New Delhi, Mar 14
Railway Minister Jagjivan Ram today strongly repudiated Communist charges of victimisation by the Railway Board of its employees for political and trade union activities. Mr Jagjivan Ram who was replying to the denote on the Appropriation Bill in the Rajya Sabha said, “We do not victimise employees for political activity. We punish them for political activity”.
44% Of Bangalore Citizens Are Jobless

Socio-economic sample surveys conducted by the Department of Statistics, Government of Mysore, have revealed some facts regarding the life in Bangalore. Out of the total employable males, 56 per cent were employed, seven per cent were without work but seeking employment and 37 per cent were without work.

Rape Victim Brought To House

Mr G Narayan Kumar, Karnataka Kranti Ranga member today shocked the Legislative Assembly by producing in the House a woman allegedly raped by three persons in broad daylight at the Lal Bagh here on Saturday.
His unprecedented action resulted in both ruling and Opposition Party members condemning it.
