At 6' 4", Nikitin Dheer — who recently made his debut in Ashutosh Gowarikar's Jodhaa Akbar as the main antagonist, a character only third in importance after Hrithik's Akbar and Aishwarya's Jodhaa — is handsome and qualified. Nikitin's father, Pankaj Dheer is a well-known actor-producer while his grandfather, C L Dheer was a filmmaker who made as many as 19 films, though Nikitin confesses that he has only seen two — Bahu Beti and Aalingan. “My grandfather made women oriented films and his central characters were always women.” Nikitin, who’s only among 10 civilians to undergo black cat commando training in unarmed combat and black belt, has yet another prestigious film on hand — Popcorn Entertainment's Mission Istanbul, directed by Apoorva Lakhia for which he has already shot in Turkey. Right from the time when he was eight years old visiting the sets of Mahabharat, Nikitin had dreamt of becoming an actor and has prepared himself by learning dance from Saroj's academy and training in voice and diction under Mukul Shrivastava for a year.
