The camp was conducted for parents of children studying at the Parikrama Centres of Learning in the slums of Siddapura, Tilak Nagar, Rajendra Nagar and Eijipura. Parikrama Foundation runs centres of learning for street children and children of slum dwellers. As many 78 women and 12 men were benefited by the camp. Dr Asha Khatry, Director, Community Service of Rotary Club and BBMP Chief Health Officer Dr Gayathri said that the Palike would be joining hands with NGOs to conduct many more health camps.
Shukla Bose, Founder-CEO of Parikrama, Superintendent of Jayanagar hospital Dr Saraswathi and Superintendent of Siddaiah Road Maternity Dr Vatsala were present.
