Love conquers all
KGF, DHNS:

A couple, who were earlier separated from their respective spouses, have united in matrimony after facing opposition from their respective families. Both of them are residents of Mahadevapura near Bethamangala.

Chinnapaiah (35) had married 10 years ago, but his wife left him within one year of his marriage. Nethravathi of the same village was married seven years ago but within seven years ago but her husband sent her back home within six months. Both Chinnapaiah and Nethravathi, who belonged to the same community, fell in love a few years ago. However, this was opposed by both their families and the lovers decided to run away. Nethravathi’s father filed a complaint alleging that Chinnapaiah has eloped with his daughter.

Chinnapaiah and Nethravathi got married in a temple in Bangalore and stated before the police that they have married. Bethamangala Sub-inspector summoned the families of the couple and advised them that they should allow the couple to lead a married life.

The elders of the village and the two families signed their marriage certificates at the Bangarpet Sub-Registrar’s office and this was followed by exchange of garlands by the couple at the Bangaru Tirupati temple.
