B'lore college Verve champs

 The team from Sri Bhagavan Mahavir Jain college in Bangalore won the overall championship in ‘Verve- 2008,’ a national-level business school meet organised by the Management Club of Aloysius Institute of Business Administration (AIBA) from March 13 to 15.

Manipal Institute of Management is the runners up. In the valedictory function held on Saturday, Regional Manager of Toshiba India Pvt Ltd Mr Chiranjeev gave away the prizes to the winners. The runners up of the fest are Manipal Institute of Management,  Manipal.

In his address, Mr Chiranjeev stressed on the need to develop soft skills in students. He told the students that it is a very competitive world out there and that they are coming out of the college in the right time, as it is the time for India and China to dominate every field. He also released the magazine ‘Impulsion’.

AIBA Director Fr Denzil Lobo presided over the function and released multi-news letters corresponding to three departments. AIBA Dean Dr P G Aquinas, Faculty Coordinator Santhosh Shanbhag and student co-ordinators Rexon Noronha and Sriranga K were present on the occasion.

As many as 12 colleges from different parts of the country participated in the fest which was held under the theme ‘Corporate  Jungle’.
