Tibetans and Buddhist monks at Bailukuppe near here offered special prayers against the killing and street fight between Chinese troops and Buddhist monks in Tibetan capital at Lhasa on Friday.
The Tibetans were protesting the Communist rule against Tibetans by the Chinese.
More than 3,500 Tibetans offered prayers at Bailukuppe seeking peace in Tibet.
Addressing the Tibetans, Seraje Temple Chief Priest Lobsang Palden urged the authorities concerned to stop atrocities against Tibetans.
He also urged the UN to take steps to stop atrocities on Tibetans.
