Residents of Nehru Road Layout have complained that their life has become miserable due to the rotten smell coming out of a drainage in their area as water gets stagnated, besides mosquito menace.

The problem has arisen as there is no proper system for a clear flow of water. Though the public have been assured of laying an underground drainage, the assurance has not come true till date. The residents said there had been no use even after complaining to the Town Panchayat.
