The State government on Saturday transferred Dr S M Jaamdar, Principal Secretary to Revenue Department and appointed him as Managing Director of Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, Bangalore in place of  L V Nagarajan.

 D Thangaraj, who was Principal Secretary to Transport Department, has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Revenue Department.

In another major reshuffle of senior bureaucrats, Siddaiah is appointed as Commissioner for Bangalore Development Authority replacing M K Shankarlinge Gowda.

Shankarlinge Gowda is posted as Secretary to Health and Family Welfare Department (Medical Education) replacing Siddaiah.

The other postings are as follows: K Amaranarayana- Additional Secretary to Government, Finance Commission Cell, Bangalore vice  N Chandrakumar, Deputy Secretary, transferred.

N Channappa Gowda- Managing Director, Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Bangalore relieving P N Sreenivasachary of the additional charge.
