Another LeadCap march held in Malleswaram on Sunday saw the participation of nearly 300 people, who proudly declared that it is up to the citizens of Bangalore to lead their city to where they want to see it.
Rotary club, north-west, Lions and Lioness Club, Sadashivanagar, Sankey Park Walkers’ Association, Malleswaram Swabhiman initiative along with the students from MES participated in the walk.
"LeadCap has identified 20 bright youngsters out of the march, who would be given leadership training so that they can carry on the good work in their locality," said Sangeeth Varghese, Leadership expert from LSE and the founder of LeadCap.
These marches which serve as awakening experiences would soon grow into a movement with more citizens, NGOs’, resident associations and personalities joining in.
The next LaedCap march is in Koramangala on March 30th.
