Drizzling in DK, Udupi
Mangalore, DHNS:
Mangalore City experienced light drizzling on Sunday evening bringing a sigh of relief to the people. However, the light showers were a hurdle to the beach and park goers.

Though it was sunny throughout the day, it started drizzling in the evening and the showers were accompanied with thunder and lightning. Besides Mangalore, Belthangady and Puttur taluks also experienced rain on Saturday night.  Meanwhile, two buffaloes were killed when lighting struck them at Ullepadi village in Mulky police station limits on Sunday evening.

In Udupi
Udupi district too received rains with thunder and lightning relieving the residents from the heat wave that had been prevailing from quite some days.

Cloudy atmosphere that existed since 48 hours along with bright sunlight for few hours before noon on Sunday baffled public who eagerly waited for showers. Mandarthi, Siriyara, Maduvana, Kota, Kundapura, Kumbhashi received light showers in the evening.

In Kodagu
Kodagu did not receive any rains on Sunday.
