As many as 25,200 students will appear for the II PUC examination scheduled to be held between March 17 and 29.

Deputy Commissioner has clamped prohibitory order within 200 metre radius of the examination centres. All the photostat shops in the vicinity of the centre have been asked to close down till the end of the examination.

In Mangalore taluk (13,506), Bantwal (3,538), Puttur (3,722), Belthangady (2,473) and Sullia (1,961) students will appear for the examination. There are 38 examination centres in the district. A nodal officer had been appointed for every centre and Jilla Jagritha Dala have been formed under the guidance pf PU Board Deputy Director.
