Theatre activist and well-known actor K V Nagarajamurthy was felicitated on the occasion of his 50th birthday in Bangalore on Sunday. A souvenir ‘Rangasanchari-50’ was also released on the occasion. MLC and actor Mukhyamantri Chandru speaking on the occasion said Nagarajamurthy’s contribution to Kannada theatre movement is laudable. Felicitation in recognition of his contributions to the field motivates others to serve the field with dedication, he said.
Sutturmutt seer Shivarathri Deshikendra said Nagarajamurthy has been striving to safeguard indigenous culture through his theatre activities. His role as theatre activist is a model for younger generation to emulate.
