KPSC verification on March 24
The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), will conduct verification of all original documents of provisionally eligible candidates on March 24, on the basis of marks secured in the competitive examination held on January 13, 2008 in respect of 116 posts of second division surveyor in the department of survey settlement and land records.

Office-bearers elected
Mr M Krishna Murthy and Mr S N Sairam were elected as president and vice-president respectively, of the Alumni Association of BMS College of Engineering at the general body meeting of the Association.

Other office-bearers are: P S Niranjan Rao (general secretary), Prakash Gujjar (treasurer) and working committee members - Mr G Nagaraju, Mr Syed Sardar, Prof Rajanesh Kumar B, Mr H V Prabhu, Mr Seethapathi Rao, Mr Gopal Rao G, Mr Shivaram M R and Mr C S Suresh Kumar.
