Bakery course
The university of agricultural sciences (UAS) Bangalore, has invited application for admission to its 14 week certificate course in ‘Bakery Technology’. Eligibility for the course is, pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification. Fee is Rs 5,000 payable at the time of admission by cash in one installment.
Applications can be obtained by sending a self-addressed envelope affixing postage stamp of Rs 10 along with IPO of Rs 10, drawn in favour of Co-ordinator, Bakery Training Unit, Directorate of Extension, UAS, Hebbal, Bangalore 560024. e-Governance projects
As part of the Government of Karnataka’s (GoK), e-Governance initiative, the Centre for e-Governance aims to implement a ‘State Wide Area Network’ (KSWAN) to create an ICT infrastructure for the state government and its various departments.
KSWAN aims to provide data, voice and video services throughout the state and would act as a vehicle for effective implementation of e-governance projects across the state. The project is expected to go live within 42 weeks.
