An online skill assessment tool for prospective nurses seeking employment, with the Wockhardt Hospitals Group, was launched on Monday. Billed as the `Wockhardt Nursing Skill Test’ (NST), the novel online test has been created in association with Careersindia, a leading workforce assessment services company.
Briefing media in this connection, Wockhardt Hospitals Group CEO, Vishal Bali said, “The NST process will be our screening round and is beneficial to both sides. It will ensure that nurses, majority of whom are from Southern regions, do not have to travel long distances for our recruitment process.”
A job applicant has to merely log on to http://www.careersindia.com/nursing and take the 47-minute test, said R Kannan, MD, Careersindia. A total of 3,000 web centres have been designated for test purposes all over the country and the test fee is Rs 200.
