FKSLOAA holds meeting
The Federation of Karnataka State Lorry Owners and Agents Association (FKSLOAA) held a meet of all sand lorry owners on Monday.
The meet discussed issues such as harassment of truckers by the police, commercial tax and transport inspectors etc. G R Shanmugappa, president of FKSLOAA said another meet will be held on March 20, with officials from the Department of Geology to discuss the issue of excavation of sand according to 738 areas identified by the department.
Checking drive increased
The BMTC has intensified its checking drive on persons indulging in misuse of daily passes, in select places of the city including sub-urban areas.
