Addressing a press meet here on Monday, Vidyanikethan Public School Chairman and Managing Trustee Prathapchandra Shetty informed that there are two separate categories, for kids born before April 1, 2004 and for those born before April 1, 1998. The competitions include 50 metres, 75 metres and 100 metres race, potato race, long jump, shuttle relay, cricket throw ball, 25 meter hopping and so on.
A kid can take part in a maximum of five events and there are no restrictions for the number of students from each school. No entrance fee will be charged. Interested may send their entrance letter with their birth certificate and other personal details duly attested by head of the institution to the Physical Education Teacher of Vidyanikethan Public School Mr Thilak (Ph: 9844991482/ 0820-2590399) on or before March 26.
Separate bus facility from Brahmavar bus stop is made available for the kids who participate in the sports meet.
