Chief accountant dies of heart attack

Abdul Jabeer who was serving as the Chief accountant at the Taluk Panchayat died on Saturday night following a, massive cardiac arrest.

He had been transferred to the taluk panchayat just a year ago but was a popular officer with the masses.

Upright officer
An upright officer, he was also known for having tightened the working of Taluk Panchayat and was popularly called as ‘Gabbar’ amongst the  officers and was able to relate to the problems of the common man.

He had been working on Taluk Panchayat bills for the month of March and had returned home at 1 am in Chikkaballapur on th e fateful night.

At home he complained of chest pains but before he could be admitted to the hospital he has breathed his last.
Taluk Panchayat Cheif Executive Officer Dr Srinivas in his condolence message has said that the Taluk Panchayat offices have lost a great person who never manipulated anyone for his own benefits. He never delayed any work and even took on additional responsibility.

“ He gave a new and better image to the panchayat administration in the Taluk and it is tragedy we lost him” said that bereaved officer.

Jabbar had recently been elected  to the State Committee of  the Government Employees’ Association. 
President of the Government Employees’ Association R Hanumatha Reddy. A I I Nagappa of Gram panchayat, Taluk Panchayat President Venkatamma Nagaraj, Vice-president Ashwathappa, former president S S Rmesh Babu.

Ravindra Reddy, Sudharakar Reddy, Zilla Panchayat member  Poojappa, Srinivas, youth leader S T Srinivas and others have expressed their grievances over the passing away of Abdul Jabbar and termed it a great loss.
