Pak arrests 23 Indian fishermen
Pakistani authorities on Monday said they apprehended 23 Indian fishermen along with five boats for illegally fishing in the country's waters, reports PTI from Islamabad.
The boats were found fishing illegally inside Pakistan's exclusive economic zone, said a statement from the Maritime Security Agency.
The arrested fishermen will be handed over to police in the port city of Karachi for further legal action, the statement said.
Halle Berry gives birth to girl
Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry has become a mother for the first time, a US magazine reported, reports DPA from New York.
Berry (41) gave birth to a girl on Sunday, People, a celebrity and human-interest magazine, said on Sunday, citing a representative for the actress.
The father is Berry's model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry(32). The two have no plans to marry, according to Berry, who won the best actress Oscar in 2002 for her role in Monster's Ball.
‘Madonna, husband having problems’
Pop superstar Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie are reportedly having problems as friends claim they are living separate lives, reports IANS from London.
Their friend revealed that Madonna and Guy have even divided their home into quarters and avoid each other, thesun.co.uk reports. The two have been living as flat mates “who pass in the night” and don’t behave as husband and wife.
In January, Ritchie got a new wing of the house furnished while Madonna took another quarter for herself.
Harry Potter Radcliffe turns heavy smoker
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe’s co-stars have warned him of serious health problems if he doesn’t quit smoking 20 cigarettes a day, reports IANS from London.
Radcliffe has been nicknamed Harry Puffer on the set of the new Potter movie as he rushes off to smoke between takes. He is reportedly smoking a pack a day and this is worrying his friends, thesun.co.uk reports.
Producers are also afraid that Radcliffe’s image could be damaged if he is seen smoking in public.
