The Karnataka Administrative Tribunal has set aside the suspension of Dr N Ramalinge Gowda, Associate Professor and Medical Superintendent of Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences.  The Tribunal allowed an application by Dr Ramalinge Gowda and quashed the two suspension orders issued by the Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare department in 2008. The Tribunal observed that suspension orders had been passed without a charge sheet filed against him, which is a condition precedent under the KCS(CCA) Rules.
