RBI slot four  past MICO
RBI scored thrice in the space of six minutes in the second half to crush MICO 4-0 in the Travancore Cup hockey tournament at the KSHA stadium on Tuesday.

Goutham put the bankmen in the lead in the 16th minute. Ashwin doubled the tally in the 44th minute. Santhosh J X hit home in the 47th and Kavin rounded off the scoring in the 50th.

In another match, Sathish struck in the fifth minute to help ITI edge out Flying HC 1-0.

Rajkumar enters quarterfinals
Defending champion D Rajkumar moved into the quarterfinals with a 6-2 win over R Vijaya Prasad in the 9-ball pool State-ranking tournament at the KSBA Hall on Tuesday.

InfoTech Global clinch title
InfoTech Global defeated Centrum by five wickets to win the Championship Plaspo Ten10 Corporate Cricket tournament in Bangalore.

Target beat Madura Garments by 30 runs to lift the Challenger Trophy.

National Masters athletic meet
National Masters Athletic Championship for men and women will be held from March 23 to 26 at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati.

The championship will also serve as the trials to select the National team for the upcoming Asian Masters Athletic Championship to be held in Japan, according to a release in Bangalore on Tuesday.
