Bhattacharya is likely to verify the new electoral rolls prepared by the Office of Chief Electoral Officer (OCEO) as per the delimited assembly constituencies. The OCEO has completed preparation of delimited electoral rolls of all districts, except BBMP area, in just a week’s time, official sources said.

The Dy EC may also examine the final voters’ list published on March 10, in view of allegations from the Congress that the list still has a lot of anomalies, sources said.

When contacted, Chief Electoral Officer R Ramaseshan said the Dy EC is coming for general review of all ongoing works.
