Nadabhanu concert

A unique music concert called ‘Nadabhanu’ was held at JP Vidyaniketan School, Bannerghatta road. The artistes, who presented the concert, were students of the Sangeet Sarita Musical Trust run by Hindustani classical singer Heggar Anant Hegde.They included engineers, doctors, businessmen, school and college students. The singers rendered Hindustani classical ‘Bandeesh’ and played the tabla as well as keyboard.

Reghana Sriram played ‘Raag Bhairavi’ on keyboard while Aruna rendered ‘Raag Brindavani Sarang’ with a brief ‘Alap’. Sriram played ‘Raag Alaiya Bilaval’ on keyboard, Dr Sujata Mishra ‘Raag Shuddasarang’, little Soudamini presented ‘Raag Bhairav’ while Smitha came up with ‘Raag Bhimpalasi’ and the young Prithviraj played the tabla. Mihir ‘Sang Raag Miyaki Todi’ was sung by Mihir. Heggar Anant Hegde and Suresh Hegde accompanied them on harmonium and tabla. The concert enthralled the audience.
