Irregular water supply

We the residents of No1 to 4 Vannarpet Layout, Vivekanagar have not been receiving regular water supply for the past 15 days though there is no problem for water in the adjoining streets in our area. We have placed our grievances to all concerned from the valve man to the assistant executive engineer at Ulsoor sub-station. We get water only for 15 to 20 minutes after 11 pm in the night. No one seems to be interested in giving even a patient hearing to our problems. People in the area say that we have to pay the valve man to get water. The line man refuses to even check the problem. We are not aware as to who else we have to put forth our grievance to ensure proper supply of water to our houses

Red board passes of no use

Many office-goers and students who commute everyday have red board passes. But of late, a Pushpak bus has replaced the red board parisara bus. Because of this, office-goers and school children have been deprived their due benefits in the Pushpak.

When a Pushpak bus is sent for any reason, it is the duty of the authority concerned to convert it to a red board bus by instructing the driver and conductor to collect only red board charges and to allow red board pass holders. No passenger should face any kind of problem for the mistake of the administration. Further, the manager of the department concerned should not only ensure that red board bus KA 50-F144 is sent daily but that it also leaves Vidyamanya Nagara at 8 am to Shivajinagar daily and back leaving KBS at 6 pm. The timings should be maintained as per schedule and no trip should be skipped for any reason.
