Collision of lorries: 2 drivers burnt alive
Gulbarga,DHNS:

Drivers of  two trucks were burnt alive after a head-on collision at Ferozabad  near Jewargi, about 30 km from Gulbarga, on the Humnabad-Bijapur national high way in the wee hours of Wednesday. One lorry was gutted while the other was badly damaged.

Three persons who were in the lorry received burns and they have been admitted to the district general hospital here. One lorry carrying foodgrains was going from Gulbarga to Bellary while the other was coming to Gulbarga from Bijapur. Bodies of drivers Shivakumar Jainappa Poojary (35) of Babalad (K) village and Appaji (28) of Bijapur were charred to death beyond recognition. Foodgrains worth Rs 3 lakh were reduced to ashes.
