Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Interior Karnataka. Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over Coastal Karnataka however below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka. Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37.7 Celsius over the State. Minimum temperatures appreciably rose at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka. Chamarajnagara recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 16.8 Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Friday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
