The Brahma Rathotsava programme of Sri Lakshminarasimha Swami at Devarayanadurga was held with great gusto and fervour. Thousands of devotees from various parts of the State including from the State capital participated in the fair. The car festival was organised by the district administration. Even though the KSRTC had arranged special buses for the benefit of the devotees, for the biggest fair in the district, they fell short for devotees who thronged the venue in large numbers. Other private vehicles were seen parked several kilometres long from the temple.
